Willow was sure that the Asesinos preyed on fear and that it was a window of opportunity to 'recruit' someone. But Willow didn't want anyone to go. Willow was frustrated and wished the mysterious dog would just drop down dead. Willow threw her head up in a moan but instead she met the blood-thirsty eyes of Feroz. She froze. Until now, Willow hadn't realized that Asesinos existed. She thought they were an Urban Legend. A myth. So much has changed this last few months that Willow regretted being a stray. In fact, she regretted being alive. But now there was no turning back. This road is the only thing she has left.

Asesinos! And it wasn't just any dog, but the leader Feroz, a dog Zaida hoped never to meet because this was one dog she was sure was a demon, like the champion of the dog fights. This was one of the few dogs she believed didn't deserve to live. At first when she heard the voice, Zaida froze, her heart in her throat as fear coursed through her veins. Her instincts told her to run, and keep running until she reached the coast. She didn't have to stay! But she remained, locked in indecision as Valor confronted the hidden dog. But even though she was frightened, the she-dog made a decision, determination stamped on her tan face. She would not run. She would fight along side Valor, no matter how much she longed to listen to her instincts. "I will not run!" she snarled, "You evil dog do not belong here!"

Feroz chuckled as the tan female debated on whether to run like she should do if she was smart or stand and fight next to the other strays. The Blue Heeler's eyes caught sight of Feroz and when he saw her look at him, he rose to his paws, standing at his full height still up on the porch overhang. "Son ustedes los que no es de aquí. It is you who doesn't belong here." He replied, his voice flowing as he spoke in Spanish and then remembered that these mutts most likely didn't speak Spanish so he repeated himself in English.
ooc: Sorry it's so short.

Willow growled jumping to her feet. "Are you going to fight like a real dog or watch from the sidelines!" Willow hoped her friends would forgive her. But it wouldn't affect the chance they had against him if they hurried it up or not. Willow was shocked at his reply to Zaida. The Asesinos only ruled the Outskirts. What did this mean? "B-but you rule the Outskirts! Not the whole city!" Her eyes were filled with fear and she would've ran back to her old house and abusive owners if it weren't for Zaida and Valor.

Zadia was surprised at Willow's reaction. And the thought of the message ruling the city first frightened her. Then she began thinking of all the pups in the city, the pups she wanted to have with Valor. What kind of life would they have under an evil rule of this gang? Anger began to rise in her. Zaida growled, at first surprised that the full-throated angry sound came from herself. But her protective nature pushed that thought aside. "Kindness is welcome everywhere. It is not up to you where it comes from or where it goes! Evil and brutality is not needed or wanted anywhere! Spread your filth elsewhere, curse-dog! We will not have it here in OUR part of the city, harming our pups!"

If Willow hadn't been in this situation she would've applauded her short speech. Very good for a dog who barely knew English. Willow sighed. She might not make it out alive. The only one who had a chance was Valor. This kind of evil couldn't be stopped by 4 dogs. Valor was the strongest and Willow knew the Asesinos could easily trick him into dirty work. She turned to Valor and whispered, "If they take you, please, please don't listen to them. No matter what they offer. For then you will be just as wrong as him." She looked back up at the glaring eyes. "Can you fight? Or are you to afraid?"

Another deep rumbling chuckle escaped Feroz as he came down a few more steps but was still remaining in the shadows. He ruled the shadows of this city and everyone knew it. "Chica fácil. Quién dijo algo sobre la lucha? Who said anything about fighting?" He replied, once again having to repeat himself in English. Stupid mutts can't speak Spanish. Dark red eyes continued to watch the mottle gang of dogs below him. He was silently debating whether any of them were worth fighting to get to join the Asesinos and at the moment none of them were looking worth it. A sigh escaped the jaws of the Asesinos leader as he watched them, waiting for them to finally see him. So far only the Blue Heeler had found out his location. Though even if they did find him, they couldn't get to him even if they wanted to. The porch he was on had a ladder that usually reached the ground but the ladder lay flat on the ground a good 12 feet below where he sat now. A grin slid across his face as he noticed this and he lay down on the cool iron floor, his paws dangling off the edge of the platform.

Willow watched his faint shadow as it plopped down more steps. Willow was ready to fight for to the death. She might be small but she knew how to fight. During her past months on her own she had observed many dog fights and she knew nearly all the moves in the book. Including the death blow. But from the kindness of her heart she swore to never use that move. Even if it cost her life. "You can't have Valor. Or Rifle!" She guessed he would want the two strongest males of the group and it just so happened that both could come in handy when it came to fights.

Valor finally managed to spot Feroz, a bit impressed with the fact that the large dog's hiding place. He continued to give him a cold glare, wondering what the malicious rottweiler would do next. I should be careful around him. He seems different from normal dogs of his breed. "You're a fool if you think I plan on joining his gang. I told this to Zaida when I first met her. I have no interest in getting caught up with their fight with the Guardians. It's nothing more than a pointless endeavor." He muttered to Willow, still keeping his eye on Feroz. "Besides, I answer to no one. Not a human and not another dog. I make my own choices in life, and no other dog will influence how I think." He's not here to fight, and I can tell he doesn't think much of us. What possible reason could he have for bothering us? "Whatever you want with us, you can count me out!" He snarled to Feroz rather coldly. "If I won't answer to Valiente of the Guardians, then I certainly won't answer to a blood-thirsty mongrel like you!"

Willow heaved a sigh of relief. But her face froze in fear when she heard what he said next. "Don't say that! He can kill you in one blow!" Willow shook her head at Valor. But she had to hand it to him, he wasn't easily broken. But Willow knew the Asesinos could find lots of ways to manipulatize Valor. She looked to Rifle. "Your my teacher! What do I do in this kind of situation?" Willow hoped he had some way of getting them out. Although it might be easier than expected, considering he wasn't very interested in them and he obviously didn't want to fight them. Smart move, Willow thought. He was definitely outnumbered.

Feroz just remained where he was, listening to them go on and on about how they weren't going to join the Asesinos and how the smaller male didn't answer to anyone or something useless like that. A yawn escaped his jaws and they went on and on and when the Blue Heeler spoke, he couldn't help but look at her with a grin. "Chica inteligente. Usted debe escuchar a su mayor frecuencia." He replied, a devlish grin sliding across his face. It seemed that this old house pet knew more than most of these strays put together. This time he didn't bother translating for them, not really caring if they understood what he said or not. He wasn't here to teach these common strays how to speak proper Spanish. Dark red eyes continued to gaze down at them, remembering them. He wasn't stupid. Even if he did want to take one of these dogs back to the warehouse he would need back up and by the time he was able to get back up he probably would have changed his mind about taking them in anyways. Oh well. He was enjoying letting them guess what he was going to do when even he didn't know.

Willow stopped. She nearly burst into laughter. "We're all so stupid!" She couldn't help herself and exploded with laughter. "He can't stop us from leaving nor would he care!" Willow started to leave and looked back at the others. "Let's go before he decides he needs us for something." Willow waited for her friends. She couldn't read the dog's expressions but she could tell that he didn't care a bit about them.

Rifle could only stare at the Asesinos leader, confused and perplexed. After a moment, he realized that Willow was talking to him and he pulled his gaze away from the red eyes of the Asesinos leader and turned to look at her. When he heard her question, his honey brown eyes turned back to look at Feroz before he spoke, his eyes not leaving the huge Rottweiler. "I don't think he wants to fight. . ." He replied, confused and slightly worried. A normal Assesinos member would want to fight. After all that was pretty much all they did. They almost didn't seem like they even thought about what the outcome of a fight would be or what would happen later, they just fought. But Feroz seemed to have something else in mind. He seemed a lot smarter than Rifle had orginally thought he would be. That made him even more dangerous. It was easy to outsmart an evil dog that just wanted to take over the world or whatever they tried to do. But Feroz didn't seem at all like what Rifle thought he would be like. This was the first time he had crossed paths with the Asesinos leader and he couldn't help but be in awe of the dog. He definitely knew what he was doing.

Willow could read his expression. "If we leave now he wouldn't bother us... for the moment. He's a smart dog and isn't fast on attacking. But if you want to give him time to decide our fates that's cool with me! But I'm not sticking around to get to know him." Willow waited but Rifle didn't answer. "He's the smart dog. The brains of his gang. The dogs are his manipulative part. Like his weapon. Meaning that he's more lethal than the dogs that are quick on attacking!" She was shouting now trying to persuade the dogs to leave with her. She was confused why they were still here if Feroz didn't want to attack. While Willow shouted she realized that Feroz had called her intelligent. Just in a foreign language. She could pick out certain parts of Spanish quite well.

Rifle understood why Willow wanted to leave and she was probably right but he couldn't help but let his curiousity get the best of him. "Yeah but if he doesn't want to fight then what does he want?" He asked both to Feroz and to Willow. His gaze switched from looking at Willow to looking at Feroz once more. He was up to something. He had to be. Why else would he not care what they did. Something seemed out of place here but Rifle couldn't quite put his paw on it and it was starting to drive him insane. "Does this seem weird to you, Valor?" He asked, turning to face the other male, their stupid glaring contest earlier completely forgotten. Maybe it was just him that thought something was wrong but if Valor thought so to then surely there was something to figure out.
