FAMILY
PERSONALITY
Valor has chosen me and my companions.
Together we work as one to save those in need.
Without Valor's grace guiding us, lost we will be in the dark of the night.
Though with it, we are one. An army of good mercenaries ready to fend of those who dare wish to harm the lives of the others.
Wisdom in Age
Listen to me, youth and elder
For of my old age, my time here is almost done.
Though listen to my advice, and you shall see.
What this world has done to me.
With lessons and harships to go through,
You will need all the wisdom you can recieve.
To the Shadows He Stays
A white hue adorns my pelt.
Becuase of white I do, others with it to be stained red.
In return, I am forced to live in secrecy of my guardian companions.
If ever to show myself amongst the world,
I know well that my life will end in the way that it shouldn't.
Agression is Not His Way
The world we know today is failing.
Agression, anger, betrayal..
All things that tear us upart from one another
Will surely be our Doom.
Thus, I rely on my actions of peace and tranquility
To sooth out problems and hopefully bring peace back
Into our streets and alleys.
Undying Devotion
For her I shall protect,
Though in old age it will be hard,
But I promised I would do my best.
Not only for her, but to my brother Oscuro.
He has been there for me through times of old
Even to this very day. To him, to my lover, and to my family of Guardians, I will try ever so dearly to keep my vow to keep you all safe.

HISTORY
A Rescue to Remember
The fire roared as it bit away upon the framework of the wood that belonged to the house. Outside, two humans screamed and yelled at the house, calling out for their youngest child that was still locked away inside by the flames and smoke. The firemen could not enter for all entries possible were blocked. Of course, that didn't mean there wasn't still a hope to save the 4-year-old. If the human could not do it, that never meant an animal couldn't either.
He crawled his way, belly brushing against the floor as he kept lowered from the flames and thick smoke. Even at a year old, he was still a pup. Though he had the heart of gold, especially with his effort to try and save the young girl. Nose caught sent of the girl, even over the harsh aroma of smoke. He barked, making his way swiftly to her door. Luckily, it wasn't blocked, thus making his entrance easy. Or so he thought. He heard the eerie groan of the wood as the weight of debris gathered upon it. He knew he had to hurry. His eyes scanned through the smoke, only capturing the small silhouette of the child. He barked again, making his way toward her.
Her crying made him even more eager to get to her and get her out alive. He reached her, but heard the wood framing begin to crack, thus sending fiery pieces of debris to the you child's bed. He looked up, realizing that there was some about to fall down upon him and the young girl. His eyes widened, he jumped forth, snatching hold of the girl's shirt and immediately drug her away just as the wall above her smashed down. He paused, feeling the young girl climb onto his back, holding onto his collar for dear life. Crouched again, his mind on all exits that were possible. He snarled darkly, knowing the only good way out was the front door. Even if it meant jumping through the flames.
He looked back the the girl before whimpering lightly. He stood and began to run, though made sure he was not fast enough to make the child fall off. His eyes gaze to the door, though looked up as the ceiling began to fall. He picked up his speed, and then..
The firemen had the young girl wrapped up in a cool blanket, her parents crying with delight that their daughter was safe and sound. Valiente felt whimpered softly, the bridge of his nose having been the only thing that got burnt. He felt the gentle brushes of the humans hands against his white coat, knowing they were thanking him. He watched as the ambulance took his family away to be treated. He was thankful that the Higher Power had gien hm such courage to do what he had just done.
The Sad Farewell
He stood there, looking out through the glass window of the car. Little did he know that he was on his way to a place that he didn't belong to. Though it wasn't the humans will, it was the fact that they couldn't care for him anymore. The loss of their home, their money, the loss of almost everything made them go broke. They were going to live with their relatives in a different state, in home where not pets were allowed. So before their departure, they had decided to take Valiente to the pound for him to be adopted out.
As they pulled up to the Pound, Valiente's heart sank. He knew what this place was, and was not ready to go in there and be cooped up with a cage. He looked over to the small girl that sat next to him, and gently licked her face in a way of a farewell. As the larger male human opened the door to his side, he jumped out and sped off, only to stop and look back to them with a final glance before turning and running again. He had to block out the crying of the young girl, but he knew this is what he had to do.
Only a few days after that, he had found himself pondering the streets in search of a meal. His paws were torn and somewhat bloodied from the sharp rocks he had to cross over just to get here. Though pain did not show in his proud features. He shifted, nudging over a trash can with ease. He began to root his way through the paper and other thrown out things, but his ears twitched to the sound of snarling and yipes. He scoffed, making his way toward the sound, only to befall a small dog being snapped at by two others that were much bigger.
With a snarl, he leaped and was now stanced in front of the small dog, protecting him from the others. His hair was on end, white ivories bared, and his long, pointed ears were flat against his skull.
"Dare you come near him again, I will be sure that you will have a taste of your own medicine!" He snapped. One bolted at him, though he side-stepped and snatched onto his scruff and clamped down. He tugged with anger, making the brute stumble and yelp in pain. Valiente then let go, backing up to be sure that the space between he and the young male pup was limited to be secure of his safety. His stood proudly, though defensively. Some would wonder as to why he let the one brute hound go. Simple. Valiente was not a killer, nor a fighter. He only wanted this to end in peace with no blood shed.
He watched as the other two looked to each other, the one glaring. "C'mon semoto..That little pipsqueak isn't worth our time." He snarled, then glared to Valiente. The two left, looking over their shoulders to see if Valiente was running at them. The white German Shepherd scoffed, and then turned and looked to the small pup behind him. Their eyes met, and the pup felt a source of pride rise within himself.
From that day on, Valiente has saved countless of dogs from harm. He watched over them, though kept himself hidden for there were some dogs that wished him to be dead. Some say that when you are alone at night, and are scared of the dark..
Whisper his name...
..Valiente..Valiente..
And you will be guided by him, even if you cannot see him. He is there watching out for you.
