Now here on the streets of La Paz, there are a lot of strays running around but you cant just do whatever you want. There are many threats out there that you are going to want to watch out for. First off, there is the dog fights, those are humans that drive around in vans picking up any strays they can find then battling them against other strays other humans have gathered up. If you do get caught in a dog fight then fighting isnt the only issue. There is a vicious dog that has beaten every dog he has gone up against in the ring. His name is... Diablo which means devil or satan. He is a quick, muscular, lethal Doberman Pinscher. He is your main threat in the dog fights because even if you survive all of your fights, that means you will eventually be put up against Diablo and you will then die.
If you dont get caught up in the dog fights then you may also get jumped on the streets by other strays or you will get tangled up with the callejeros, which means gangs. There are a couple of these gangs around but one is the biggest threat. They are called the Asesinos, meaning assassins. They are the top dogs of the callejeros. If you mess with them then you will most likely be used to do their dirty work until you screw up, then they will just get rid of you. The boss of the Asesinos is Feroz meaning wild. He rules the streets so try to stay out of his way and out of his business and you should be okay. Him and his second in command, Destripador, are definitely the most feared dogs in all of the streets.

And if you survive the dog fights and the callejeros you still have the feline threat to worry about. They are sly and slippery and extremely hard to catch. They usually go after other cats, but they have been know to work with the Asesinos and help with high profile assassinations as well. This cat callejeros is known as the Arteros, meaning cunning. And they do live up to their name. Their leader is a very smart cat named Maligno, meaning evil spirit. He is usually never seen by any animal except for Compinche, his right hand cat, and sometimes Feroz when they are working together. Therefore, no animal is sure what he looks like exactly but rumors do spread quickly. You dont want to ruffle their fur cause you wont live long to tell about it.
The last threat you will want to watch out for isn't in the streets. They dwell out in the canyons and deserts and old pyramids further from the city. They are pumas. These over-sized cats are not as sly and quick thinking as their callejeros brothers but their size helps them make up for some of their brain lose. Be careful in the deserts because if the heat doesn't kill you, the pumas surely will.
Now that you know about all of the bad guys you will surely face, let me tell you about the small number of good guys you will find on the streets. First off, a dog inside the dog fights might be able to help you escape from them without a scratch. His name is Salvador, meaning savior, and he trys to save as many dogs as he can. He has to be careful though because if he releases every single dog that comes into the fights, the humans will start to get suspicious and he himself could be killed. So if you are one of the lucky ones, he may be able to help you.
Another good guy roaming the streets is a pack of dogs known as the GuardiƔns, meaning guardians. They try and watch out for the dogs that live on the streets and try to keep order among all of the animals. Their leader is a dog named Valiente, meaning brave. He will try to help you as much as he can, that is if you can find him. He is hidden pretty well because if the Arteros or the Asesinos find him they will kill him on the spot. His second in command is named Oscuro and he is usually the one out doing the missions and errands in order to keep Valiente safe. So hopefully you will be lucky enough to have one of them around when you get into trouble.
Some more good guys are the Felinos, meaning felines. They are a small group of elite cat warriors who do secret missions for the GuardiƔns and helps keep the order by assassinating the bad guys. They are always on the hunt for Feroz and Maligno. They may be able to help you in some way or another.

And last but not least is a lone dog who lives on the trains and helps any animals get across the border and into the United States. He can help you if you can find him and get to him. He is always moving around so he doesnt get caught by any of the Callejeros. His name is Viajero meaning traveler.
That is pretty much all you need to know about the good guys and bad guys of La Paz, Mexico. Hopefully you can survive long enough to fulfill some dream of yours.
